Managing Continuous Improvement in Complex & Disrupted Environments
Armed conflict, economic volatility, pandemics, and the rapid rise of AI, disruption is no longer an exception in higher education. It is the operating environment. Yet most of our quality assurance systems were built for stability, not for the world our institutions actually face today. This interactive closing session explores what it takes to sustain meaningful quality assurance when circumstances demand more than the standard playbook. Drawing on diverse global contexts and candid practitioner stories, the session examines how accreditation managers can move from reactive crisis response to purposeful adaptation. Participants will leave with a practical framework for navigating QA through disruption, one grounded in real experience, designed for reuse, and ready to take back to their institutions on Monday morning.
