Artificial Intelligence is rapidly transforming business, society, and education—but what does it really mean for higher education classrooms today? Beyond the headlines, educators face the practical challenge of understanding how AI can be applied responsibly and effectively in the teaching and learning process. The AI-enhanced learning workshop provides a structured, hands-on space for faculty and learning professionals to explore the opportunities and challenges of AI in business education.

Over the course of three interconnected modules, participants will build a solid foundation in AI concepts, experiment with tools for course and content design, and create practical activities that integrate AI into their own teaching. The focus is on moving from curiosity to application: not only learning about AI, but designing strategies and activities that can be implemented immediately, while also developing the critical mindset needed to adapt to tools and approaches that don’t yet exist.

Target group

  • Business school faculty and lecturers who want to enhance their classroom teaching with AI tools
  • Learning experience designers and curriculum developers in higher education
  • Higher education administrators interested in innovation in teaching and learning

Learning objectives

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  1. Understand the current capabilities and limitations of AI tools relevant to business education
  2. Critically evaluate AI and be able to incorporate not just the tools today, but those we haven’t even seen yet
  3. Design course content and activities that leverage AI for improved engagement, personalisation, or assessment
  4. Integrate an AI-powered activity into their existing teaching practice, and test its effectiveness
  5. Reflect on lessons learned, adapt the designs, and plan for future incorporation of AI into their curriculum
