Event Details

This conference is tailored to fit the expectations of directors and administrators of MSc and MA programmes from all over the world. The event is a unique occasion for networking, sharing and debating issues and opportunities present in Masters programmes.
When entering a Master programme, the diversity of students’ backgrounds is wide due to their working experience and individual motivations. Keeping in mind the complexity of managing Masters programmes, we base the sessions around topics such as global trends and new markets for Masters programmes while staying relevant to all attendees.

Why Change Is Getting Harder
Aim: The current situation has brought the concept of Change into sharp focus. Business Schools have been faced with significant change challenges from both the supply and demand side of our product.

This session aims to take us out of our own contexts and see how other organisations and sectors approach this complex issue. The session host is Jonathan Berry, the European Director of Expressworks Consulting, who has a wealth of change management experience, both within large multinational organisations and now, as a consultant.

The session will introduce discussion points on a refreshing take on change, the environments that create it and how we can take a more holistic and confident approach towards change.

The new reality of teaching – learning
Aim: The current situation has produced the need for seismic changes in what the ‘classroom’ has needed to become. As with live classes, the three vital dimensions of Content, Teaching and Learning style (pedagogy) and Edtech have needed to be significantly and swiftly reformulated. Most of us are still in this transformative stage and possibly have more questions than answers.

We welcome Janicke Rasmussen from BI and Nancy Armstrong from Grenoble Ecole de Management, both highly experienced leaders in pedagogic development to provide insights and lesssons from their experiences before opening the floor for discussion and exchange.

Nancy may appear to be taking a morning nap, but in fact is attending from her hospital bed, following an accident – that, is dedication!
