Event Details
Business schools steer a difficult course in navigating the fog caused by a disrupted environment and an unprecedented demand to align values with societal demands and a new generation of students. In this time of change, it is helpful for industry professionals to join forces and navigate their way towards a future-proof transformation.
The EFMD Annual Conference gathers several hundred members of the management education community to tackle burning subjects such as the impact of globalisation, collaborative research, creative leadership and digital learning strategies. Over two days, professionals in different administrative and managerial positions from all over the world participate in a dynamic learning and networking event that helps them move towards impactful business education.

Cancellation policy registrations
Cancellations must be confirmed in writing. If EFMD receives notice of your withdrawal before 06/05/23, a cancellation administrative fee of (75€ + local VAT) will be charged. Thereafter, we regret that we are unable to refund any fees. However, in such cases substitutes are welcome at no extra cost as long as EFMD receives notification of the name, title and address of the substitute.
Also note that if we haven’t received your payment (or proof of payment) before the list is distributed 1 June 2023, your contact details will not be included in that list.
How to get there
Arriving in Lyon
From the airport to the city center:
By taxi:
It takes between 30 and 60 minutes from the airport to the city centre. Costs vary between 70 and 100 EUR.
Uber is also available in Lyon.
By public transport:
You can take the tramway shuttle “Rhone Express” from Lyon Saint-Exupéry Airport to the main train station “Gare Part-Dieu”. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Departure every 15 minutes from 4.25am to midnight (Every 30 min from 4.25 am to 6 am and from 9 to midnight).
Guests staying at the Radisson Blu Hotel Lyon will be able to walk there from the station.
For those staying at the Sofitel Bellecourt Hotel, please take metro line B towards “Gare d’Oullins” and get off at the stop “Saxe-Gambetta”. From there, please take metro line D towards “Gare de Vaise” and get off at the stop “Bellecour”.

Arriving at emlyon
From the airport to emlyon (Ecully)
By taxi it takes between 45 and 90 minutes to reach emlyon and costs will be between 80 and 100 EUR.

Accommodation
EFMD has negotiated preferential rates in our conference hotel, the Radisson Blu Hotel Lyon, 129 rue Servient 69003 Lyon, France.
Transfers will be organised from this hotel to emlyon and back as well as for the dinners.
