The EFMD Career Services Conference focuses specifically on the issues career services professionals face as they navigate the current realities of work, specifically in the areas of: recruitment, job mobility, internationalisation, employability, and trends in the labour market. At the same time career professionals need to be aware and up to date with all the technological advancements that have impacted how career services are offered.

Target group:
Directors of career services and business school career services staff involved in the strategic decisions of career services.

Please note that this conference is for professionals in career services only: we will not accept third party providers.

Opening plenary: Uncharted: how do we prepare students for a future that is unpredictable?
The world used to be more predictable than it is today—and jobs more stable. The collision of complexity, new technologies, globalization, uncertainty and the gig economy makes planning a career almost inconceivable. When CVs are judged by AI and interview conducted by bots, how can graduates learn where they want to work and what they want to do? Parental experience is no guide. What skills, aptitudes and mindsets will support students as they begin the hazardous adventure known as employment?
