Event Details

The COVID-19 pandemic will lead to a world which is (1) significantly more indebted, leading to plenty of economic consequences. (2) Global supply chains will be challenged to become more resilient, e.g. by transforming into more regional or local production systems. And (3) the digital transformation of all aspects of life is getting enormously accelerated, also causing a more safety-led consumer behavior.

How can corporations best prepare for such a future? How can they anticipate shifting market structures and consumer preferences, and leverage opportunities when imagining the ‘next normal’? And how, after all, can corporate learning support their organizations in shaping the mindset and skills most relevant for a successful recovery? Including how L&D reviews its strategy and ecosystem to realise an enhanced digital learning experience?

In our third call on corporate learning in times of a pandemic, EFMD invites its company members to take stock of where we stand now, and to collectively imagine how L&D can best add value throughout the recovery phase. Rosaria Torriani from Parker Hannifin Group will share how they applied scenario planning to prepare best for this new phase of corporate development. We will use Zoom breakout groups to reflect on our own situation, to then collectively discuss our findings.

The meeting will take place as a Zoom call. If Zoom is not working within your corporate firewall, please move towards another location.
