To Know What Works in Education, Build Institutions That Learn
In times of rapid change and increasing complexity in educational systems, the key challenge for educational policy and practice is not simply designing new initiatives, but building systems that implement them successfully and continuously learn what works in the process. Drawing on the experience of Education Lab NL, this keynote explores how evidence, research-practice partnerships and implementation science can help create robust infrastructures for innovation and decision-making. It reflects on what such learning systems might imply for educational institutions—and for business schools as learning organisations themselves.
