We have designed this workshop as a virtual learning opportunity for School representatives to engage with our EFMD Programme Accreditation experts and get hands-on learning experience through case discussion. The workshop is designed to cater for the needs of Schools whose programmes are yet to gain eligibility as well as those who have already done so and are preparing for their peer review visit. There will be a heavy focus on groupwork and Q&A sessions as well as an external speaker who will share their experiences in programme accreditation. Participants will be encouraged to ask any questions they may have regarding the accreditation process and to interact with their peers and the speakers throughout.
The workshop consists of two modules:
- One common core module for all participants that will cover EFMD Programme Accreditation process as well as the standards and criteria
- Two parallel focused tracks: one for Schools in the Pre-eligibility stage and one for Schools in the Post-eligibility stage
The online workshop is planned for March 10 and will be preceded by a mandatory briefing session on 24 February 2023. During the briefing, the experts will explain the format and required preparation, and the documents that will need to be considered in preparation for the workshop. The briefing will also provide an overview of EFMD’s Programme Accreditation process. Participants will already have the opportunity to meet and network before the workshop begins. During the workshop, attendees will work with an actual Datasheet and Self-Assessment Report of an EFMD accredited school.
In this workshop you will learn how to:
- Interpret and apply the Standards and Criteria
- Navigate the key stages of the accreditation processes in the Pre-eligibility or in the Post-eligibility stage
- Prepare a good Datasheet (for Schools in the Pre-eligibility) or a good SAR (for Schools in Post-eligibility)
- Organise a Peer Review Visit focusing on the Visiting Schedule and the Base Room

- If you are in the early stages of the process or thinking about Programme Accreditation and trying to understand what it takes
- If your School is eligible for EFMD Programme Accreditation and you are preparing an initial accreditation visit
- If your School holds EFMD Programme Accreditation and you are preparing a re-accreditation visit
- If you are new in your accreditation role
Keep in mind
We will admit a limited amount of participants to enable a better small-group learning experience for you and to facilitate close interaction with the experts. Registration will be based on a first-come-first-served basis. Only one representative per institution may initially register. A second representative from the same institution wishing to participate will be placed on a waiting list and registered based on availability.

Fees and payment
Participation Fees
- 400 € + 21% VAT – FULL members of EFMD
- 500 € + 21% VAT – AFFILIATED members of EFMD
- 600 € + 21% VAT – Non-members of EFMD
The deadline to register for the workshop is 13 February 2023.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be confirmed in writing. If we receive notice of your withdrawal before 13 February 2023, a cancellation administrative fee of 90.75€ (75€ 21% VAT) will be charged. Thereafter, we regret that we are unable to refund any fees. However, in such cases, substitutes are welcome at no extra cost as long as EFMD receives notification of the name, title and address of the substitute.
