Event Details

This seminar is for you

  • If your school is eligible for EQUIS Accreditation and you are preparing an initial accreditation visit
  • If your School holds EQUIS Accreditation and you are preparing a re-accreditation visit
  • If you are new in your accreditation role

We have designed this seminar as an interactive learning opportunity, crucially involving individual preparation and collaborative learning. Participants will engage with the EQUIS Accreditation team who will be available to provide advice during the online group discussion as participants reflect on actual case material with a view to applying their learning to their own situation. The online seminar will start with an essential briefing session on 26th October 2021.During this briefing, the EQUIS team will explain the format, preparation, and the available working documents required.Participants will be given the opportunity to meet and network before the seminar starts. One of the aims of this seminar is to create a supportive community where participants can learn and exchange ideas with each other. The briefing session will be followed by four modules which will take place over two weeks. In between these live session, attendees will have the opportunity to work asynchronously (individually, as well as in peer groups). These modules will focus on interpreting and applying the Standards& Criteria and analysing a Datasheet. Participants will also study the different functions and challenges of the Self-Assessment Report. Time will be allocated for Q&A sessions. This will enable participants to clarify any questions they have on the accreditation process and interact with their peers through breakout sessions which will also form part of this seminar. To get the most out of the seminar, individual preparation and active participation is vital.
