EFMD Global brings you another edition of the EQUIS Accreditation Seminar designed as a dynamic and collaborative online learning experience to support institutions at various stages of their EQUIS accreditation journey. This seminar is for you if:

• your School is pre-eligible for EQUIS accreditation
• your School is Eligible for EQUIS accreditation and you are preparing an initial accreditation visit
• you are new in your accreditation role.

Participants will engage with the EQUIS accreditation team who will be available to provide advice during the online group discussion as participants reflect on actual case material with a view to applying their learning to their own situation. One of the aims of this seminar will be to create a supportive community where participants can learn and exchange ideas with each other.

This two-week online seminar consists of four modules scheduled as follows:

Module 1 – Bringing the Standards & Criteria to life: 9 April 2024, 14:00 – 16:45 CEST

    • Key elements in each of the Standards & Criteria
    • Evolution and latest revisions to Standards & Criteria
    • How to nuance a School’s narrative in relation to Standards & Criteria
    • Questions of most interest

    Module 2 – The Datasheet: 11 April 2024, 14:00 – 16:15 CEST

      • Requirements, key areas, style, data collection, examples from practice
      • Assessment of example datasheets, group feedback, discussion, writing your datasheet in OX

      Module 3 – The Self-Assessment Report: 16 April 2024, 14:00 – 17:00 CEST

          Part I – Understanding the SAR

          • The role of the SAR in the context of an EQUIS accreditation process
          • Group work of comparison and consistency of the SARs

            Part II – Producing the SAR

            • Make yourself familiar with examples and practise its assessment
            • Explore the requirements for creating a good SAR

            Module 4 – The Peer Review Visit: 18 April 2024, 14:00 – 16:15 CEST

              • How to prepare an effective Peer Review Visit
              • Learning from a School’s experience

                In between these live sessions, attendees will have the opportunity to work asynchronously (individually as well as in peer groups). Time will be allocated for Q&A sessions. This will enable participants to clarify any questions they have on the accreditation process and interact with their peers through breakout sessions which will also form part of this seminar.

                PREREQUISITES
                It is essential that participants have read the EQUIS core documents (Standards & Criteria, Process Manual and Annexes) before the start of the seminar. To get the most out of the seminar, individual preparation and active participation is vital.

                KEEP IN MIND
                Participants need to fill in the online pre-registration form if they wish to attend the seminar. Following receipt of participant details, the EQUIS Office will send an email informing whether the registration will be accepted.
                We will admit a maximum of 25 participants to enable a better learning experience for you and to facilitate close interaction with the experts and other participants. Registration will be based on a first-come-first-served basis.
                Depending on availability, only one representative per institution will be admitted to the seminar. A second representative from the same institution wishing to participate will initially be placed on a waiting list and allowed to attend only if the 25-participant limit is not reached.

                Programme

                The seminar will run according to the following schedule. Registered participants will be asked to set aside 1 hour to prepare and send any questions they may have about any part of the accreditation process, 2 hours to read the Datasheets part and another 2 hours for a group get together to agree on a joint assessment. For the Module on the Self-Assessment Report, 3 hours pre-work will be required. A detailed programme will be shared with the participants in due course.

                              SEMINAR FEES
                              EFMD Full member: 900€ (+ 21% VAT if applicable)
                              EFMD Affiliated member: 1200€ (+ 21% VAT if applicable)

                              CANCELLATION POLICY FOR REGISTRATIONS
                              Cancellations must be confirmed in writing. If EFMD receives notice of your withdrawal before 18/03/2024, a cancellation administrative fee of 75€ (+ 21% VAT if applicable) will be charged. Thereafter, we regret that we are unable to refund any fees. However, in such cases, substitutes are welcome at no extra cost as long as EFMD receives the notification of the name, title and address of the substitute.
