With the upcoming retirement of the baby boomer generation, also at top management level, organisations must secure and prepare the next generation of executives.
Parker Hannifin, leader in motion and control technologies, regards the question of generation shift as an opportunity to look beyond data and future-proof its pool of potential successors for executive positions. With a long-term horizon in mind, it launched a Leadership Development Center to assess candidates for general management roles and systematically develop future leadership capabilities across a diverse pool of executive talent.
Rosi Torriani, head of Talent and Organisation Effectiveness EMEA, and Kay Rolandi, program lead of the Leadership Development Center, provide insight into how they address business challenges and approach the transformation of the organisation’s leadership.
The workshop offers a wonderful opportunity to learn about the challenges along the way, in terms of conceptualisation and design, and to discuss with peers topical issues of executive development.
This workshop is by invitation only and open to corporate learning and development practitioners from member companies and invited guests.
All indicated times are CEST.
