Event Details

For over a century, Siemens has been at the forefront of innovation and consistently pushed boundaries, reimagining what is possible. The latest push is bringing the digital and the real world together, thinking in ecosystems.

Creating a Learning and Growth ecosystem has been at the core of Siemens’ massive transformation from learning provider to learning enabler. Today, its learning ecosystem has more than 220.000 unique users and comprises more than 160.000 learning resources. Eleven external content libraries and more than 1300 curators from within Siemens contribute to this ecosystem. To make this a one stop shop, the platform contains an integrated roles and skills management tool as well as a MyGrowth Hub that includes coaching services. All of this is accompanied by data insight tools that allow to monitor and steer learning activities.

Nonetheless, this transformation journey has not been without its challenges. Asking everyone within the Learning and Growth function to take on a new role has been a challenge in itself. Creating an ecosystem without precedent, be it technical or in architectural design, another one. Many questions remain open.

If you are interested in learning more about Siemens’ experience in creating a learning ecosystem from scratch – then join us for our next Sharing Best Practice workshop on 22 March 2024. Dagmar Riehle, Head of Ecosystem Governance @ Siemens Global Learning and Growth will share the story so far and be happy to discuss with you the way forward.

This workshop is by invitation only and open to corporate learning and development practitioners from member companies and invited guests.
