Business Schools and teaching teams have had to adapt quickly in the face of the COVID-19 crisis with the overnight move from face-to-face to online delivery. A great deal has been achieved but it is clear that there has been a just-make it happen approach.
So how can business schools nurture an organisation towards online learning and develop a sustainable strategy?
The aim of this 2-day online workshop is to bring together leaders and managers who have been dealing with the crisis to reflect on the challenges and what they have learnt. The intent is to:
Identify “Where are you now?”
Gain a better understanding of what have you accomplished so far
Understand the “Next step”
Establish what you want to achieve in both the medium and longer term
Build the right capability and capacity
Create a sustainable strategy towards online learning
The workshop will take an innovative approach in supporting institutions to develop their own strategy.
Before the workshop, participants will be asked to collect information within their own setting using a standard set of questions as well as identifying a small team who can support them at various points over the 2 days.
The virtual workshop will provide frameworks and tools for making sense of the situation as well as opportunities for smaller groups of peers from other institutions to share their findings and discuss ways forward. Participants will then take their ideas back to their own internal support groups to discuss and brainstorm ways forward which will feedback into the later webinars. Using this interactive and iterative approach, institutions will be guided through the steps so that by the end of the workshop they have their own roadmap for the enhancement of their own online delivery as well as access to a new support group of peers facing similar situations in other institutions.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations must be confirmed in writing before 25th of May 2020. A cancellation fee of EUR 50 will be charged if made before 25 May. After the given date, we are unable to refund any fees. However, in such cases, substitutes are welcome at no extra cost as long as we receive notification of the name, title and address of the substitute.
